On July 2nd, the "AI Empowering Thousands of Industries - Entering the Intelligent Equipment Chamber of Commerce" special session was held at Guosheng Intelligent Technology, deeply implementing the important speech spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping on artificial intelligence at the private enterprise symposium and the 20th collective learning session of the Central Political Bureau. Zhang Tong, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, attended the event.

Pan Weiguo, President of Nantong Intelligent Equipment Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of Guosheng Zhike, introduced the basic situation, industry development, and related common issues of the Intelligent Equipment Chamber of Commerce to the attending guests. Representatives from chambers of commerce and enterprises discussed their experiences, suggestions, and demands regarding the promotion of the transformation and application of artificial intelligence technology, as well as the strengthening and optimization of the high-end equipment industry. Everyone is unanimously optimistic about the development prospects of artificial intelligence in Nantong, and expressed that they will actively seize opportunities, use new technologies, explore new scenarios, and explore new models, and work together to build an AI empowered industrial ecosystem for intelligent manufacturing in Nantong. In response to policy demands from enterprises regarding technology, taxation, listing, and training empowerment, relevant departments in the city have provided answers and responses one by one.

In order to promote the development of Nantong's intelligent equipment industry to a higher level and deeper level, a "Chief Consultant Appointment Ceremony for Intelligent Equipment Industry" was held at the event site. Zhang Tong, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, presented appointment letters to Pan Weiguo, Chairman of Guosheng Zhike, and Tang Zikang, Chairman of Nantong Zhenkang.

Zhang Tong listened carefully to the speech, recorded the demands in detail, and occasionally had in-depth discussions with entrepreneurs on some viewpoints and issues. She said that our city is currently accelerating the construction of a modern industrial city facing the forefront of technology. She hopes that everyone will focus on building a strong manufacturing city, empowering traditional industries to rejuvenate and upgrade, helping the development and growth of the marine industry, embedding into the Yangtze River Delta and linking with the Pearl River Delta industrial innovation system, and working together to build a modern industrial system with advanced manufacturing as the backbone. She pointed out that artificial intelligence is a key variable for our city to move towards a higher quality next trillion yuan. The whole city is accelerating the cultivation of the artificial intelligence industry, deeply implementing the "Artificial Intelligence+" action, and striving to create an important pivot for the integration and innovation of artificial intelligence in the Yangtze River Delta. In this process, both the Intelligent Equipment Chamber of Commerce and the newly established City wide Artificial Intelligence Industry Innovation Alliance are important forces. We hope that the "one alliance, one chamber of commerce" will deeply integrate, efficiently link, and collaborate to guide enterprises to actively embrace the era of artificial intelligence, jointly explore the tracks of intelligent industrial robots, humanoid robots, and key components, and take the lead and be pioneers in the development of artificial intelligence in the city.

This event is the first visit of Wanqi University. Mayor Zhang Tong highly praised the organization of the event and hopes that the Intelligent Equipment Chamber of Commerce will fully play its role in organizing, coordinating, and providing services to help the government better understand the needs of enterprises and jointly solve practical difficulties.
