Nantong Institute of Technology and Guosheng Zhike Sign Strategic School-Enterprise Cooperation Agreement

On the afternoon of June 30, the signing ceremony of the university-enterprise cooperation agreement and the launch event of the collaboration project between Nantong Institute of Technology and Guosheng Zhike were held in Haibei Hall on the fifth floor of the library at Nantong Institute of Technology. Leaders including Pan Weiguo, Chairman of Guosheng Zhike, Chen Mingyu, Chairman of Nantong Institute of Technology, and Principal Cheng Chun attended the event. Vice Principal Qin Zhilin presided over the ceremony.

At the meeting, Pan Weiguo and Cheng Chun jointly signed the framework agreement on strategic cooperation between the university and the enterprise. The two parties also collectively signed specialized cooperation agreements, including the Party-building and cultural co-construction agreement and the targeted talent training agreement. During the event, the jointly compiled loose-leaf tutorial "Numerical Control Machine Tool Structure and Principles: Guosheng Zhike Product Case Loose-Leaf Tutorial" was officially released. Additionally, the "Guosheng Cup" E-commerce Operation Competition and the task for Nantong Institute of Technology faculty members to undertake practical training at Guosheng Zhike were simultaneously announced.

Associate Professor Chen Meifang from the School of Mechanical Engineering (School of Intelligent Manufacturing) at Nantong University of Science and Technology, and Ren Dong, Assistant General Manager, Technical Director, and Senior Engineer of Guosheng Zhike, respectively represented teachers and engineers in their speeches.

Chairman Pan Weiguo, based on the development trends of high-end equipment and new materials industries, elaborated on the training directions and job suitability requirements for high-quality technical talents in the industry. He pointed out that the high-quality development of the industry urgently requires highly skilled applied technical talents. Both schools and enterprises should closely align with practical operational and job demands, focusing on cultivating versatile technical talents with both equipment operation capabilities and engineering practice competencies to enhance industry efficiency and effectiveness.

Chairman Chen Mingyu expressed sincere gratitude to Guosheng ZhiKe for its long-term strong support in school operations and talent cultivation. He pointed out that the core of university-enterprise collaboration lies in implementation and practical action, emphasizing the need to promote various cooperative projects with a pragmatic approach to ensure their effectiveness. He stressed the importance of improving process evaluation, solidifying cooperative tasks, and advancing specialized collaborations such as talent cultivation and industry-academia-research partnerships to deepen and solidify these efforts, ultimately achieving complementary resources and synergistic development between universities and enterprises.

This signing marks a new phase of systematic and in-depth collaboration between the two parties. In the future, Nantong University of Science and Technology and Guosheng ZhiKe will base their cooperation on the agreement, leverage projects as a driving force, and continuously explore innovative approaches to industry-education integration, jointly building a new development ecosystem characterized by "dual empowerment of universities and enterprises, and synchronized resonance between industry and education.".
